On May 14, 2025, the II English-Language Student Scientific and Practical Conference “New Trends in Teaching Methods for Children of Different Ages” was successfully held at the Bila Tserkva Humanitarian Pedagogical Professional College.
Organized by an English teacher, Olena Schastlyva, to mark the Day of Science, the conference brought together talented students who presented their research and shared practical ideas on modern approaches to teaching. Topics ranged from classroom management and gamification to the role of the teacher and key features of effective lessons in primary education.
Among the standout presentations were:
- Darja Kobylinska (1 DO group) – “The Factors that Make a Positive Learning Environment”;
- Nadiia Dieieva & Viktoriia Valihura (32 POa,f group) – “Requirements for a Modern Lesson in a Primary Classroom”;
- Maria Basaliuk & Sofiia Babanina (32 POa,f group) – “Main Classroom Management Mistakes and Ways to Correct Them”, “Some Advice about Classroom Management”;
- Viktoriia Vysytska (1 PO group) – “The Teacher’s Role in Classroom Management”;
- Artur Tyshchenko (1 PO group) – “Key Features of an Effective Lesson in the Primary Classroom”;
- Valeriia Molokova (1 PO group) – “Top Educational Technologies that are in Trend Nowadays”;
- Kamila Holub (1 PO group) – “Gamification in the English Classroom”.
The event showcased students' ability to think critically, work collaboratively, and express their ideas confidently in English — valuable skills for future educators.
The conference concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, acknowledging each participant’s contribution and enthusiasm. The college administration and organizing committee expressed their pride in the students' efforts and encouraged them to continue striving for innovation and excellence in education.
